Worsley Park 50 Plus Club – Cards every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. and cards every Wednesday at 2 p.m. – All are welcome.

CBS Minor Softball – Bingo Event August 16 – CBS Arena, 10 Graham Mifflen Drive. Gate opens 6 p.m., Bingo starts at 7. Cash only, Canteen Available.

All Saints Parish Ways and Means Committee of CBS are hosting a Luncheon and Card Game on Thursday, August 18 starting at 12 noon.  Meal will be a Turkey Cold Plate with dessert, tea/coffee. Cost for meal will be $15 plus $5 for cards. Everyone welcome. For more information call Sandra 240-2114.

CONCEPTION BAY CENTRE

The Star of the Sea Holyrood is having a dance, the first dance since the spring of 2019 when COVID started. The dance will be held on August 31st from 9:00 pm to 1:00 a.m.  Music by Brian Flannigan, from Mount Pearl, Nl.  Brian plays electric, acoustic guitar, and the mandolin.  He plays a variety of music including Newfoundland songs, country and western, rock and roll, and waltzes.  The cost of admission is $10.00 per person. Bar service is available, must be 19 years of age to get admitted. Come and bring some friends.

St. Mary’s Bay

19 + Fundraiser Dance for John Walsh of Cape Broyle, who became paraplegic this past January. The dance is August 13th at Cape Broyle Community Hall. Doors open at 8 p.m. Music is by DJ Services and a donation can be made at the door. There will be 50/50 tickets and prize spins. BYOB. Goulds Daffodil Seniors (55+) Card Club will be reopening on September 13th at 1:30 pm at Recreation Centre in Goulds. All new members are welcome.
