Comments on: Lesley Peddle and her four regal looking stallions, Crux, Charlie, Zander and Duke have become familiar and friendly sights in St. Mary’s since they moved to town. The retired seafarer and her horses had been living in Avondale, but moved to St. Mary’s where the roads are less busy. It’s allowed Peddle to take the animals on long rides to the beach and the backcountry. Two of the horses are Friesians and one is a Clydesdale. Here Crux, which is Latin for Cross, enjoys a feed of fresh hay, which Peddle purchases from a farmer in the Goulds. Craig Westcott photo	</title>
