I discovered your book on Amazon. It peaked my interest as I noted it contained the surname of Poor/Power. I can only trace my Great Great Grandfather Joseph Power (born circa 1840) and wife Catherine Nowlan to the Mobile area. So I ask myself why Mobile? where were they before that? I really have no idea but at least I now have another avenue to explore the possibilities. Regardless if I discover they originally moved from Caplin Bay, I have thoroughly enjoyed your book! It is packed with information and so well written. The author has an innate ability to write in as if he is sitting down at the kitchen table and just conversationally explaining things to you.
Best book I purchased this year!
