Last Saturday morning was a chilly one, making it a morning befitting the Town of Holyrood’s annual 5 KM Chilly Dash. The road race had been scheduled for the weekend prior, but temperatures that could be more accurately described as freezing more than chilly forced the town to postpone the event. As a result of the change in schedule, some twenty-odd participants had to drop out, but despite that, over sixty runners braved the cold temperatures. Runners set off from Country Path Road and ran the five kilometres to Holy Cross Elementary School, where town staff where awaiting them with medals and bottled water. First across the finish line was Daniel Conway (16:12), followed closely behind by Alexander Pittman (16:15) and Ryne King (16:48). From left to right are Pittman, Conway, and King.
