CONCEPTION BAY SOUTH
Hope Pentecostal Church in Seal Cove will be holding a coffee /tea hour on Friday March 31, 2023 from 6:30-8:30. We have new singers joining us and refreshments will be provided, come and bring a friend.
Topsail United Church Men’s Club Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be held on Saturday April 1st from 8 until 11 a.m., Usual Great Menu. Cost $10 Adults, Children $5, Pictures, Colouring and Face Painting for the Children. All are Welcome.
CONCEPTION BAY CENTRE
This year the Star of the Sea Holyrood will be celebrating its 121st anniversary. Come and join in our celebrations of St Patrick’s Weekend. On Friday, March 17th, 2023 from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. there will be an adult dance at the Star of the Sea, Conception Bay Highway, Holyrood, open to the public admission is $10.00 at the door. Music by Brian Finn.
On Saturday, March 18th there will be a Star of the Sea members dinner and dance. There is a limited number of tickets available to non-members at a cost of $25.00 each. Cocktails at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7:00 p.m. Bumbleberry chicken will be served with dessert. Music will be provided by Contraband. Any non-members wishing for tickets to this dinner and dance can call Dolores Morse at 231-2395 to check on the availability of tickets. On Sunday, the 19th of March, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. “Come All Ye Irish”. Dance, soup, and rolls will be provided free of charge at 5:00 p.m. Music by Brian Finn. Donations will be accepted for the Kids Eat Smart Program.
