The Queen Elizabeth Pioneers are the Metro division high school rugby champions following a 30-5 victory against Ascension Collegiate-Roncalli in the division final on October 27. The win marks Queen Elizabeth’s first female rugby championship win, and the girls are set to play the yet-to-be-determined City champions in the provincial final at Swilers Rugby Complex this weekend. The girls had a tremendous season, going undefeated throughout the round.
