The Paradise Phantoms Under12 Girls are the provincial champs after winning five straight in a season concluding tournament in Corner Brook earlier this month. The Phantoms defeated Pasadena 12-7, the St. John’s Caps 13-12, Grand Falls – Windsor 13-5, Corner Brook 13-9 and then the Caps again in the championship game 12-11. It also marked the fourth straight tournament this season where the girls earned medals. They took silver at the Heather Healey Female Invitational, gold at the Annual Mike Buist Classic, silver at the Hickman Honda Female Classic, and the gold in Corner Brook.
