By Mark Squibb/June 2, 2022

Paradise council approved a number of subdivision related developments during the May 17 council meeting.

First, council approved phase 2 of the Hideaway Creak subdivision off Beatrix Place, subject to 20 conditions.

The subdivision was initially approved in August of 2018, subject to 22 conditions.

Next, council granted approval for infill development of 11 of 13 lots in the Market Ridge subdivision subject to 23 conditions.

“Only 11 are recommended for approval due to servicing issues on the remaining two lots,” explained Deputy Mayor Kimberley Street. “The 11 lots recommended for approval will require water pressure booster pumps to be installed.”

The lots are found on Silver Birch Crescent and Safron Street near Neil’s Pond.

Finally, council approved Phase 1B of the Picco Ridge subdivision development, which will extend Phoenix Drive to accommodate the addition of seven lots, subject to 20 conditions.

Engineering plans for the entirety of the phase were approved in 2016.
