Thieves grab generator from depot

The Harbour Grace RCMP are investigating a break, enter and theft that occurred at the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure depot in Lower Island Cove sometime overnight on November 10-11.
On November 11, police responded to a report that a 25,000 Watt generator was found missing from the salt shed yard. It was found to be missing after staff arrived on shift that morning, said Glenda Power, the RCMP’s director of strategic communications.
The generator is a 2014 Magnum, model number MMG025-01, unit #6675 with Licence plate CPO529. The serial number is 5AJGS1311EB403533.
