RCMP investigate arson in North River

The Bay Roberts RCMP is investigating an arson that happened at Mahoney’s Towing impound yard in North River during the early morning hours of September 3.

At approximately 4:00 a.m., police received a report of a fire and attended the scene. The fire started in a vehicle that was parked at the impound yard and then spread to a tractor and an outbuilding on the property. The blaze was extinguished by local firefighters.
