Temporary postal outlet approved in Seal Cove

A temporary Post Office building is preparing to set up shop in Seal Cove.

Councillor-at-large Rex said Canada Post has expressed interest in developing a temporary postal outlet at 202 Seal Cove Road.

Not much was said about the building or its long-term future, other than the Town had requested the building itself be placed on the western edge of the property, and the parking lot on the eastern edge.

“Even though it’s a temporary building, it will be dressed up to look like a permanent property at that site,” Hillier said.

There was no explanation offered as to what will happen with the current Post Office, which is located inside Seal Cove Grocery.
