Spaniard’s Bay approves new apartment complex and seniors’ apartments

The Town of Spaniard’s Bay has approved an application for a three-unit senior’s apartment building at 13 Shepherds’ Hill Road.

“It’s nice to see some low-housing units for our seniors,” said Mayor David Brazil during the July 20 meeting.

Council also approved a three-unit apartment complex at 35 Brazil’s Hill.

The motion was approved and passed unanimously without too much discussion from council, though Mayor Brazil noted that it was nice to see construction applications coming forward.

Council also approved two new home constructions, along with some applications for new sheds and garages around the community.
