Paradise proclaims Easter Seals Month as special guest looks on

The Town of Paradise has recognized March as Easter Seals Month.

Various representatives were present for the proclamation signing, including 2019 Ambassador Cassandra McGrath.

“I just want to say thank you to everybody for the support. I mean, Easter Seals I love to death, I practically live there. So thank you for all the support,” she told those gathered at the March 5 council meeting.

Easter Seals has over 400 participants in Newfoundland, registered in over 20 programs, including sports, arts, music, social, and career development. Many of those participants are registered in multiple programs.

“We’re changing many, many lives, and giving persons with disabilities opportunities,” said Easter Seals Newfoundland and Labrador CEO Mark Bradbury.
