Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 50 CBS, July 1st Memorial Day Service. The parade to the Monument of Honour will begin at Sobey’s parking lot at 11:30 a.m. The service will start at 12:00 noon. All Saints Parish, Foxtrap is hosting an Outdoor Flea Market on July 14th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting. If bad weather, it will be held inside in the Parish Hall. It would be greatly appreciated if you have any items for this event to drop them off at the Parish Office, Monday – Friday between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be Moose Burgers, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and Pop sold at this event. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 50 Kelligrews thanks the community for its support in donating items for its flea markets in the past. This year on July 15 we will hold a Flea Market as a means to raise funds to further improve the interior of our building. We would like to call on you once again to donate items to our worthy cause. Knights of Columbus Holy Spirit Council 6792 will hold a Flea Market, Saturday, July 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 781 Conception Bay Highway, Kelligrews.
There will be a Gospel Hymn Sing at All Saints Parish Hall, Foxtrap, on Sunday June 24 starting at 7 p.m. Saints Alive Band will be performing for the complete hymn sing. Spousal Grief and Bereavement Support Group – Are you experiencing grief due to the death of your spouse? Please join us on Tuesday nights, 7:00-8:30 p.m. at St. Peter’s Parish Hall, Upper Gullies. This support group provides an opportunity for individuals to meet and discuss the loss of your spouse, provide support to each other, and share information that may help during the grieving process.
